Omdat ik natuurlijk graag op de hoogte blijft van alles in Oost, heb ik in tweetdeck een kolom met #amsterdam oost ingericht. Terwijl ik gisteren met een half oog naar het lijsttrekkersdebat zat te kijken op tv, en met een ander half naar naar de livebroadcast van de cie Wonen van de raad van Oost, kwam er iets opmerkelijk op twitter voorbij. In de kolom van #amsterdam Oost. Twee jochies, ik schat 13-14 jaar, twitterden rond dat homos geklapt zouden gaan worden in oost. Aanleiding hiervoor was een ander puberjochie die een tvshowtje aan het cammen was, niet verhullend dat die mogelijk niet op meisjes verliefd zou gaan worden.
Toen ik de twee grote bekjes hierop aansprak, gingen ze lekker verder: In Amsterdam Oost sowieso geen respect voor homo’s kreeg ik oa te horen. Dat zullen we nog wel eens zien, was uiteraard mijn reactie. Grote pech voor deze ventjes dat er nogal wat fantieke twitteraars zijn onder de handhavers van de openbare orde in Oost. Kleine moeite dus om oa @fatimaelatik en de buurtregisseur @PAA_Java_KNSM even een tweet te sturen. En toen ging het snel. Binnen 10 minuten kregen beide grote bekjes een uitnodiging zich vandaag te melden bij het stadsdeelkantoor; waren al hun kwetsende, bedreigende en discriminerende tweets opgeslagen door de politie en was roze in het blauw ingeschakeld. Dat was schrikken. Een van de grote bekjes verdween meteen van twitter en hief zijn account op. De ander had nog even niets in de gaten.
Hoe het verder gaat weet ik nog niet, de grote bekjes krijgen vandaag waarschijnlijk schrik van hun leven. Hopelijk leren ze ervan. Maar ik ben blij en trots dat de dienaren van de Openbare Orde en Veiligheid in Oost helemaal 2.0 zijn en ook in de avonduren gewoon kordaat optreden tegen grote bekjes.
